Handmade bag for a Buddhist monk doll — now living in Singapore.

Handmade doll clothes by Alisa Designs have now travelled to nearly fifty countries across four continents. Each order tells its own story — from tiny accessories for collectors to custom outfits inspired by different cultures and traditions.

One of these journeys led to Singapore, where a Buddhist monk doll received a handmade shoulder bag designed and crafted in Finland. Similar stories unfold around the world as Alisa Designs’ creations find new homes and become part of personal collections, exhibitions and imaginative play.

"Those outfits look amazing. Everyone enjoyed the diorama for Black History.”

— Barbara Jones, Texas Museum

Custom-made doll outfits by Alisa Designs are featured in a Black History exhibition in Texas, focusing on the 1960s. The outfits were created in close collaboration with museum staff member Barbara Jones, who provided reference photos for the designs.

After the first set of outfits, the museum commissioned additional pieces: four ambulance driver uniforms, four nurse uniforms and two 1960s-style women’s outfits.
